Visual Studio .NET rant:
Sometimes after you come back from taking a potty break or from surfing the web or whatever, VS.NET will just hang for a while. I'll maximize it and then click on a source file or in the editor and nothing happens. It only lasts about 15-20 seconds, but its annoying as heck.

It may not be VS.NET, maybe its time to do some system cleaning instead.
