Kerry Misquotes Scripture for Political Gain
An excellent post over on La Shawn Barber's Corner about how Kerry misused the "faith without works" passage in James during a campaign stop. How low will this guy go?
I have mentioned this a few times, but here it goes again.
If you rely on the govt to do your giving, then neither the giver nor the receiver will benefit as much as with one-on-one giving.

Demonstrators or Law Breakers
Demonstrators Swarm Around Rove's Home
Yes, we have freedom of speech and assembly, but when you swarm on to someone's front yard, I think you've gone too far. Rove should have had them arrested or maybe used the old midwestern trick of pulling out a shotgun and threaten them. Guns are good.

Kerry Promises to Create 10 Million Jobs
Did he just pull that 10 Million Jobs number out of his butt?
8-9 million people are out of work according to Labor statistics. Who exactly are going to get these jobs? Are the extras going to spill over into Canada and Mexico?
Kudos to Getty12 for pointing this out.

We have pressing issues that need to be dealt with in this country and Kerry is off vacationing. How dare he!!
I'm just reminded of Bush critics (including Kerry) attacking the President for going to a NASCAR race. They also criticise him for going on working vacations for a month down at the Texas whitehouse in Crawford. I don't think Kerry's getting any legislation passed while flip-flopping down the slopes is he?

Richard Clark Testimony
Terrorism Not Urgent for Bush
This is almost laughable if it weren't so sickeningly partisan.
Yep, that was obvious how Clinton so urgently wanted Osama dead. It's not like he dropped the ball in trying to capture him 3 OR 4 TIMES!
CIA director, George Tenet contradicted Clark's testimony by saying,
"Less than eight months before a presidential election, political jockeying was evident during the day."
Noooo. You don't say.

The government's former top counterterrorism adviser testified Wednesday that the Clinton administration had "no higher priority" than combatting terrorists while the Bush administration made it "an important issue but not an urgent issue."

Islam and Christ

The only problem is, they don't believe in the divinity of Jesus any more than Jews do. Coupled with the fact that the teachings of Mohammed come in direct contradiction to those of Jesus, Islam really has nothing in common with Christianity.
You are either with him or against him. Commonality means nothing to God.

Kerry Tumbles Through Extreme Sports Trip
Didn't he just say earlier today that he never falls????
Maybe the Bush/Cheney team will have an add out tomorrow about how Kerry flip-flopped down the mountain.
Kerry, his snowboard strapped to his back, hiked past 9,000 feet on Durrance Peak, then snowboarded down the mountain, taking repeated tumbles. Reporters counted six falls, although Kerry was out of sight for part of the descent.

Kerry, the Haughty, French-looking New Englander
About midway down in this article you see the true John Kerry.
Even his wife is snobby.
The image-conscious candidate and his aides prevailed upon reporters and photographers to let him have a first run down the mountain solo, except for two agents and Marvin Nicholson, his omnipresent right-hand man.
His next trip down, a reporter and a camera crew were allowed to follow along on skis — just in time to see Mr. Kerry taken out by one of the Secret Service men, who had inadvertently moved into his path, sending him into the snow.
When asked about the mishap a moment later, he said sharply, "I don't fall down," then used an expletive to describe the agent who "knocked me over."

The incident occurred near the summit. No one was hurt, and Mr. Kerry came careering down the mountain moments later, a look of intensity on his face, his lanky frame bent low to the ground.
Ms. Heinz Kerry, for her part, stuck to a pair of skis and was taking her time down the slope, accompanied by two old friends, one a former Olympian, the other a ski school instructor.
"I'm going tentatively, but prettily," she said, wearing tight black pants and a flaming red jacket.

''first-class foul-up"
Those are the words Kofi Annan used to describe the U.N. misplacing an airplane black-box that unleashed a genocide in Rwanda.

NASA's Biggest Problem
It's not lack of funds, or mismanagement (don't get me wrong, those are problems too) but it is the fact that NASA is beholden to politicians. This news story is a perfect example of why we will never get anywhere in space until it is privatized.
This particular sentence really gets me riled:
I have an idea! Why don't you SENATORS shutup and let NASA SCIENTISTS and EXPERTS decide what should happen to Hubble. Politics is what brought down the Challenger and maybe even the Columbia. Just because Senator Mikulski wants to save a few jobs in her state and cover her butt doesn't mean keeping the Hubble is best for NASA and safe for our astronauts.

Former Khmer Rouge Soliders Turn to Christianity
Although still a small group in Cambodia, the number of Christians has increased by 65% since 1998 and many of those converts are former Khmer Rogue.
I think this is a great example of God's power and love. What other religion would forgive these men who played a part in the deaths of 1.7 million Cambodians? These are the same people that wanted to get rid of all religions, yet now they are flocking to Jesus Chirst.
If these people can be converted and saved anyone can. We just need to make people realize that they actually need saving.

Kerry Is Grilled on Gay Marriage
Mr. Kerry needs to be careful. He may lose some black votes over gay marriage. He was grilled by one black woman about it down in Mississippi and I don't think she was satisfied with his answer.
(emphasis mine) Minutely calibrated stance? What stance? Can you say, "DODGE."
He seriously messed up his names, but that's beside the point. It was a criminal act that both of these men were brutally murdered (one for his sexual choice, the other for his skin color) but that has nothing to do with gay marriage whatsoever.
Then he comes up with some farsical crap about having read the Bible and going both ways which is just bad on so many levels.
Obviously, he deosn't know squat about the Bible. It is definitely not ambiguous about homosexuality and I CAN site verses, but I doubt he would listen to me.
In fact he goes on to make the lady's point by saying that he knows people that have "discovered" that they were gay after 35-40 years. Kerry is toast if that's all the better he can argue.
"I don't care what they say — there is no correlation between gay rights and civil rights in terms of what black Americans have gone through," said the woman, who described herself as a registered Democrat but an "independent voter."
One white man booed the woman from the bleachers of the college gym, but Mr. Kerry held up his hands to stop the booing, while a few blacks clapped.
Mr. Kerry answered slowly, first laying out his minutely calibrated stance on gay marriage. "I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman," he said, to polite applause. "But — but — but: I believe it's important in the United States of America that we recognize that we have a Constitution which has an equal protection clause," he said, to growing applause.

"Let me tell you something, when Matthew Shepard gets crucified on a fence in Wyoming only because he was gay," he said, "when Mr. King gets dragged behind of a truck down in Texas by chains and his body is mutilated only because he's gay — I think that's a matter of rights in the United States of America."

Mr. Kerry replied: "Well, I know the deep beliefs, I respect, I'm a Christian, I've read the Bible, and I know you can find the clauses that go both ways. I'm not here to argue that with you."

He Was In Iraq But There Was No Link
An MSNBC report says that we had opportunities to kill al-Zarqawi before the war in Iraq but we didn't follow through. I guess if we would have killed him, the terror link between Iraq and al-Queda would have been severed and Bush would not have had to go to war?
I don't see how the world can deny that there was a link between Iraq and al-Queda when the evidence in al-Zarqawi was clearly harbored in Iraq. Saddam didn't try to bust up his organization, so doesn't that mean he was harboring terrorists which would put him at the top of Bush's list?
Which is more dangerous, a country everyone believed had stockpiles of WMDs that was friendly to terrorists, or a terror cell within that country?
